We got to Lefkas by bus - about 33 Euros each. The trip takes about 6 hours and other than it being a bit warm, it was pleasant enough. We called the Omegasail folks and they met us to show us to our 46 foot Bavaria sailboat. It is well appointed. It has three full berths and one for the crew. There are two heads and a roomy galley. We left port before 5 pm and sailed to Skorpios Island for a swim. We spent the evening in the marina in Vathi. They have Internet, showers and a bar. We had a nice meal here, too.

The Attlos Hotel was highly recommended by a fellow traveler. I found it to be much less than he promised, although it is a quick walk over to the Acropolis. For the 10 Euros more, the Ilisia Hotel (Best Western) was much better. It has nicer rooms, better bathrooms, a real TV (not that I watched it), and free Internet.

Ahhh! It is last day of March and finally over 80 degrees. It was a long time coming- heck in some years we would have already started waterskiing by now. The sky is blue and the breeze is to die for. The palm fronds are blowing enough so I can hear the wind as well as feel it. I think this is the first time that I have just relaxed on my patio since last fall. It is a shame since it is almost always beautiful out here. (just too cold for me in the winter) If the weather holds we will ski early on Good Friday. I hope I can stand the cold water long enough to get a good run in.

Sara is getting married on June 5th and just got her first wedding gift. It is early as far as I am concerned, but I got a kick out of it and knew it was something that my mom would have liked to have heard about, too.

I love my iPhone. It is handiest device that I have ever had. My favorite app is the Kindle for the iPhone. I read 6 books by the same author - one after another all in the same week. It was a joy not to have to go to a store to buy the books and to just pick up where the last one left off - even if I finished a book at midnight.

The only thing I would diss Apple about is the battery life. I have to charge it at least once - sometimes twice a day.
